Established in 2003 by James Brayshaw, AdaptiveComms was set up with a clear vision to provide the highest quality service to businesses of all sizes. With a background in the communication industry, James injected a wealth of experience and industry knowledge to the creation of our successful business.
Our sustainable business model resulted in continual growth year on year across turnover, profit and employment.
By 2007 we recognised the change in the market and the drive from businesses to have IT and Communications more integrated. We took the decision to invest in IT to enable us to offer both services to businesses. Our sustainable business model and continued growth allowed us the opportunity to invest heavily in a whole new industry whilst continuing to grow and increase our turnover and profit.
James Brayshaw attended the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Business course in 2013, this course was a key stepping stone in the development of our business model to ensure we continued to grow organically and reinvest into the business.
In 2015 we won the E3 Business of the Year Award which recognised a business who had shown outstanding growth, ambition and management; alongside exceptional performance in a variety of areas including customer service, employment, sustainability, corporate social responsibility and product & service development. As a result of this achievement, James Brayshaw was invited to be a Judge at the E3 Awards in 2016 and again for the 2017 E3 Awards, both invites he graciously accepted.
In 2016, James Brayshaw was also listed on the Northwest Insider 42 under 42 Award. This is a list of 42 business people (under the age of 42) who have achieved notable business success and are expected to go on to another level. This is a great honour and achievement which really represents the hard work and commitment of the entire AdaptiveComms team.
Since 2003 we have grown organically from a small 2-man business to a well-established, profitable company with a multi-million-pound turnover, which now employs 26 staff. We have continued to maintain our core values and ethics which can be seen and felt right across the company, with service being very much at the heart of what we do.
Ultimately we will continue to focus on delivering strong growth with fantastic service which will continue to benefit our customers, staff and local economy and allow us to keep doing what we love.

Our pre-sales support is second to none, our specialists work closely with our technical staff to ensure the solutions we propose are right, no two solutions are the same. We don’t outsource technical support; this is an area we have developed and heavily invested in to ensure we have the in-house skills to propose, implement and support complex and multi-product solutions; this is something quite unique to the industry.
We have a dedicated Implementations team whose role is to fully manage the transfer and installation of the complex multi-product solutions we offer. Our aim is to make your job as simple as possible when implementing changes within your business to your communication and IT infrastructure.
Our experienced and responsive Customer Service team based here in Southport, are your first line support for any assistance or queries you may have. Our internal SLA’s and fast response time will ensure your queries will be dealt with efficiently and to your satisfaction. Communication is key, our service team will keep in contact with you as much as possible whilst they are dealing with your query. We also offer an out of hours helpline for emergencies.
Our dedicated Account Management team will carry out regular reviews of your account to ensure the solutions we provide to you continue to meet and adapt as your requirements change and grow. We will provide on-site visits as often as you would like to run through your account and service from AdaptiveComms.
All our IT and Phone system Engineers are fully qualified and experienced in their fields. As part of our pro-active service and approach we offer complementary audits of your equipment and schedule routine on-site health checks to ensure you get the most out of your technology.
